The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways needed a complete rebrand to modernize its image and improve how it communicated with the public. I led the art direction and design execution for the Connecting Cook County initiative, developing a unified visual identity that balanced professionalism with approachability.
The refreshed design featured a bright, modern color palette, clean typography, and messaging that reflected progress and accessibility. This new identity extended across digital and print materials, creating a consistent and trustworthy look that strengthened public engagement and positioned the department as a forward-thinking, community-centered organization.
